At Vagdevi Vidyapeeth International School we have a dedicated acoustically treated music studio and a dance room for training students in instrumental music, Indian classic/Folk & western dance.
How can someone express themselves in other ways outside of a classroom? The simplest answer is dance.
Dance is a different learning experience for the students.
Kids start with Calp! Stomp! Turn! Jump! Leap! They explore the movement and learn the basics of dance, younger students learn to express themselves through movement.
It’s physical, and it gives the students sort of a mental break also.
Music education is an important component of school education.
The purpose of having a music lab is to provide the students with an understanding of the fundamentals of music and strengthening their bond with music.
The school profoundly believes in inculcating rich cultural values among all the students.
Dance and Music are part of it. The school hosts cultural activities every year, music & dance learners exhibit their talent in school functions.
